Oatmeal and Raisins

I eat oatmeal for breakfast almost 3 times a week. Sometimes more.

I get the oatmeal that comes in little, single packets. I microwave them in 2/3rd cup of water at work and wallah - very nice oatmeal breakfast. No mess, no spill and no wait. So convenient.

You can add fruit (blueberries, bananas) and nuts (almond, walnuts). People even put in raisins, dates and cranberries. I've just bought a raisin version in my oatmeal packs and I have to tell you that after 2 minutes of microwaving these little dried things are scrumptious. Delicioso!

And healthy. Oats are heart healthy. They have fibre - which is good for your digestive system. And it has all the good taste and nutrients without the salt, cholesterol, fat/grease, starchy carbs, and cheese.

Oh my God...I'm becoming my mother.....
